Images You Provide

When you use Luna to identify a cat breed:

AI Processing (OpenAI)

• Images are temporarily converted to a base64 format and securely sent to OpenAI’s GPT-4o Vision model for analysis.
• This processing returns structured data such as breed name, traits, behavior, and care information.
• We do not permanently store images on our servers.

Local Storage (On Your Device)

We store the following data locally on your device:

• Scan history (breed reports)
• Images associated with scans (saved to your device storage)
• App preferences
