Areo ("we", "our", or "us"), developed by BoldScap, is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application.
We minimize data collection and prioritize your privacy. Areo operates primarily offline, with limited third-party services described below.
We use PostHog to collect anonymous usage data — such as which features and calculators are used and when a calculation or subscription action completes — to help us improve app performance and usability. PostHog assigns a randomly generated anonymous device identifier to correlate events from the same device, along with standard technical information (such as app version, device type, and operating system). We do not submit your name, email, or any other personally identifiable information to PostHog, and this data is used solely for internal product analytics. See PostHog's Privacy Policy.
Subscription status is managed by RevenueCat, Inc. RevenueCat identifies your device using a randomly generated anonymous identifier and receives your App Store receipt data solely to verify and manage your subscription entitlement. RevenueCat does not receive your payment details, name, or email. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.
Your drawings, measurements, saved shapes, calculation results, and preferences (such as unit and currency settings) are stored only on your device using local storage. We do not upload, access, or share this data externally.
