Images You Provide

When you use Milo to identify a dog breed:

• You may capture a photo using your camera or select one from your gallery.
• The selected image is processed to generate a breed report.

AI Processing (OpenAI)

• Images are temporarily converted to a base64 format and securely sent to OpenAI’s GPT-4o Vision model for analysis.
• This processing returns structured data such as breed name, traits, and care information.
• We do not permanently store images on our servers.

Local Storage (On Your Device)

We store the following data locally on your device:

• Scan history (breed reports)
• Images associated with scans (saved to your device storage)
• App preferences

This data:

• Is stored using AsyncStorage and your device’s file system
