Txtly (“we”, “our”, or “us”), developed by BoldScap, respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the Txtly mobile application (the “App”).

1. Information We Collect

a. Images and Text You Provide

• When you scan or upload images, those images are temporarily processed to extract text.
• The extracted text and resulting notes are stored locally on your device unless otherwise stated.
• We do not use your images or notes for advertising or profiling.

b. AI Processing (OpenAI)

• We use OpenAI’s APIs to:
  • Extract text from images (OCR)
  • Enhance or summarize text
  • Generate note titles
• Images and text sent to OpenAI are used only to perform the requested action and are not used by us to identify you.
• Processing is done securely and in accordance with OpenAI’s data handling policies.

c. Subscriptions (RevenueCat)

• We use RevenueCat to manage subscriptions and purchases.
• RevenueCat may process:
  • App user identifiers
  • Purchase and subscription status
  • Entitlement information (e.g., “Premium” access)
• We do not collect or store your payment details. All payments are handled by Apple via the App Store.

d. Analytics

• We may collect anonymous usage data to understand how the app is used and to improve performance and features.
• This data does not include:
  • Your scanned images
  • Your notes
  • Personal content
  • Payment information
